Meet Becky – The Founder 

​

What started as a small idea and an opportunity to help a friend open a wedding venue turned into one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. With a passion for people, more than 20 years of bartending and bar management experience, and degrees in Business Management and Marketing, I founded Buckeye Bartending Services with the goal of bringing exceptional service and memorable experiences to every event.
 

For 6½ years, I had the privilege of growing Buckeye Bartending Services into something far beyond what I ever imagined. As an extreme extrovert, I loved being surrounded by people, celebrating life's milestones, and being part of so many special occasions. Especially coming out of COVID, the opportunity to reconnect with people and bring a little extra joy to their celebrations was incredibly fulfilling.
 

Selling the business was never about losing my passion for it. After nearly 14 years with my other company, I was offered a promotion and an exciting new opportunity that came with a significant promotion and increased travel. It was a career move I was proud of, but one that required me to reevaluate my priorities and make a difficult decision about the future of Buckeye Bartending Services.
 

I couldn't imagine handing over something I had worked so hard to build to just anyone. Fortunately, the timing was right. Christyn, someone I had admired, respected, and worked alongside throughout my years in the wedding industry was making a career transition of her own and wanted to continue doing what she loved. I truly couldn't have handpicked a better person to take the reins.
 

While my chapter as the owner has come to a close, I am incredibly proud of what Buckeye Bartending Services became and so grateful for the people, relationships, and memories along the way. I know the business is in wonderful hands, and I couldn't be more excited to see it continue to grow, evolve, and bring unforgettable experiences to even more celebrations.

My journey in the hospitality and wedding industry has been shaped by a genuine love for people, meaningful connections, and being part of life's most memorable celebrations. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and over 10 years of bartending experience, I've had the privilege of working alongside incredible people, serving wonderful clients, and helping bring countless special events to life.

Throughout my career, I've worn many hats, from hospitality and bartending to wedding and event coordination. These experiences have given me a unique appreciation for everything that goes into creating a seamless, memorable event. I understand that exceptional service is about more than what happens behind the bar. It's about the little details, anticipating needs, making guests feel welcome, and helping create an atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy the moment.

When the opportunity came to take ownership of Buckeye Bartending Services, it felt like the perfect next chapter. Having spent years building relationships throughout the Central Ohio wedding industry, I was excited to bring my experience, passion, and connections to a business with such a wonderful foundation and reputation.

I am honored to carry forward what was built before me while bringing fresh ideas, new energy, and the same commitment to exceptional service. I couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead and the opportunity to continue building relationships with couples, venues, vendors, and our amazing growing team.
